Through public programs, student scholarships, research and program funding, visiting scholars, and other projects, we strive to enhance the work of the university.

    • Performance - Free and Open to the Public.  Forward Out of Darkness: A conversation with "Frederick Douglass" and Lucretia Mott". Living historians Nathan Richardson and Renee-Noelle Felice will be on campus at Utah State to perform, honoring the amazing lives and legacies of Frederick Douglass and Lucretia Mott, which are as relevant today as they were one hundred years ago. June 10, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Eccles Conference Center Auditorium.

    • Applications for the 2019 Bennion Teachers' Workshop are now being accepted for registration. The weeklong workshop will be held at Utah State University on June 10-14.

    • The Evans Biography Awards are changing to a biennial award cycle. Submissions of books published in 2018 & 2019 are now being accepted for the 2020 awards.
